Park Girls Lacrosse Club has fun and competitive girls lacrosse teams in Kansas City North. Our teams play in the Kansas City Metro Girls Lacrosse League.

Mike Lettera

HS Varsity Head Coach

Mike started playing lacrosse in 7th grade and continued through high school in Long Island, NY and college at the University of Massachusetts.

In HS he played for Jack Kaley, who is the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame Class of 2010.

In college he played for Dick Garber, who coached at UMass for 35 years 1955 – 1990 and is also in the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame Class of 1985.

Both coaches have had a tremendous influence on Mike's personal life, professional career and coaching style.

Nadine Leishman

HS Varsity Assistant Coach

Nadine joined the Park Girls Lacrosse team in the 2015-16 academic year. This will be her fourth year coaching with the program.

Leishman, a 2015 graduate of Waynesburg University, Pa., joined the Park University athletics communications office as the Sports Communication Coordinator during the 2015-16 academic year and begins her fourth season with the Pirates in 2018-19.

Leishman worked in the sports information office for a year and a half while she studied at Waynesburg. She also wrote for the school's newspaper, The Yellow Jacket, for two years covering men’s cross country and track and field. She was also part of the women’s lacrosse team for four years.

Leishman was involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) on her campus and was an intern for them in Western, Md., for two summers. As an FCA intern, she had many tasks to do when it came to working with the summer camp in Hagerstown, Md., for FCA. On top of being an intern, Leishman became the head girl’s lacrosse coach at the camp her first summer interning. She had been the head girl’s lacrosse coach at the Hagerstown Power Camp for three summers.

Leishman, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, graduated from Waynesburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management and is currently working on a master's degree, currently, at Park University.
